Our Firm

American Street Capital (“ASC”) is a leading national boutique commercial real estate finance firm with correspondent lending relationships specializing in securing balance sheet and CMBS loans for multi- family, mixed-use, student housing, mobile home parks, assisted living, hospitality, retail, office, owner- occupied, and traditional investment properties. The firm is headquartered in Chicago, IL.

Role Overview

The Regional Senior Advisor shall utilize their current clients and contacts to procure commercial real estate loan requests from $750M to $40MM for all asset classes.


  • Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred but not required • Minimum of 7 years of residential or commercial mortgage experience, preferably as broker or banker in a sales capacity
  • Minimum of $15MM of commercial real estate mortgage debt financed directly as a lender or brokering as an advisor in the past 5 years
  • Preference towards individuals with an existing book of business in the housing, i.e. multi-family, student housing, mobile home park, or senior living space
  • Must operate within a submarket that has at least a 250,000 population
  • Must have a strong technology skill set, specifically in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Must pass background checks
  • Must be able to work independently, with limited supervision, and have strong ethics

Job Description

  • Receive 20 hours of detailed training by senior members of the ASC sales staff on commercial mortgage products
  • Receive detailed training manual on sales and marketing in the commercial mortgage industry
  • Have a dedicated staff member at ASC that is responsible for all underwriting requirements to get a loan reviewed, underwritten, and funded
  • Have access to over 30 unique lending programs covering all asset classes
  • Required simply to originate initial contact and provide preliminary screening of prospect to ensure full compensation
  • Given marketing support through business cards, localized leads, and national marketing campaigns


  • 40% of gross origination fee collected from the client • 5% origination fee bonus on all production once exceeding $15MM in closed loans in a calendar year (resets on January 1st each year)
  • 1bp annual bonus on total loan volume after exceeding $25MM in loans closed in a calendar year (paid January 15th of the subsequent year)
  • Potential earnings on $25MM of production for the senior advisor would be roughly $130,000 with no underwriting requirements
